SPEAKER:
Dr. Mihir K. Das,

TOPIC:
On-line e-Training for Continuous Improvement at Rapid Pace

ABSTRACT:
Designing an e-learning program needs a totally different mindset where the program developer puts himself/herself on the e-learner’s shoes. Unfortunately, quite a few popular myths are in vogue such as E-learning is easy for instructors; E-learning is merely using “electronic books”; Content cramming leads to more efficient e-learning; E-learning is a just a series of embedded hyperlinks; E-learners learn less because of wide spread plagiarism and more. In this talk, the speaker will emphasize the positive developments in the field of e-learning.
