TERMS
OF REFERENCE

The
committee would advise the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board
on:
-
Format
and contents of safety documents like Codes, Guides, and
Manuals for safety in operation of Nuclear Power Plants
to be published by AERB .
-
Identification
of new topics of safety in operation of Nuclear Power
Plants for which, Safety Documents need to be developed.
-
Periodic updating/revision of Safety Documents already
issued for safety in operation of Nuclear Power Plants.
The
committee is entrusted with the responsibility for preparation
and review of safety documents on safety in operation of Nuclear
Power Plants.

The
committee will meet as often as necessary.

The committee may, if required, invite experts and/or
constitute working groups to assist in its working.
