Red nding is related to a deviation of high safety
signicance, which can affect the safety of

plant/facility, personnel or the environment and
needs urgent corrective action(s) by the facility.
Safety Signicance Orange safety of plant/facility, personnel or the

environment in future, if remains uncorrected or
involve certain unanalysed plant conditions which
may affect safety.
Grey nding is related to a deviation of low safety

safety signicance, which may not affect systems,

AERB follows-up the implementation of all
the actions for resolution of the reported
deviations. Orange and Red ndings are
reviewed for appropriate follow-up or
enforcement actions. The closure of the Grey,
Orange and Red ndings of nuclear and
industrial facilities are considered by AERB after
review and acceptance of the corrective actions.
