Financial grant for organising conferences and workshops

AERB provides limited financial grants to academic institutions for organizing conference, symposium and workshop etc. on nuclear and radiation safety related issues. These programmes are aimed at disseminating technical knowledge among researchers and students by specialists in the field to create awareness about nuclear and radiation safety. The areas of special relevance to AERB for Grant-in-Aid purpose are given in Annexure-1 of Brochure.

Conveners of national / international conferences, symposia and workshops can apply for financial grants to AERB following the guidelines given in the brochure.


TOPICS OF INTEREST

AERB supports the research projects on topics related to nuclear, industrial and radiation safety. Investigations on topics related to (a) safety aspects of nuclear technology including civil and structural engineering (b) front end and back end fuel cycle issues (c) industrial safety in nuclear and allied installations and (d) safety aspects of radiation applications in agriculture, industry, medicine and research, are considered for support.
