AERB has issued permission for operation of KAPP Unit - 3 up to 100% FP on August 25, 2023, based on satisfactory outcome of the requisite safety reviews. KAPP-3, the first unit of the indigenously designed and built 700 MWe Pressurised Heavy Water based NPPs in India. KAPP-3 is currently under Commissioning. Earlier, AERB issued the permission for operation of the unit up to 90% FP on June 14, 2023.new_blink_img
